‘Biophilia #10 (August 2011)

I watch the sun’s soft rays melt through the cleaning rain clouds
Casting a yellow hue over all beneath it
Cutting through the damp, grey mist which has refreshed everything
The golden light provides reassurance to all who take the time to notice it
From the blossoming cherry trees
To the battalions of daffodils which have put their heads above the trenches
Seeing the spring time bloom
Makes everything seem alright
Like a reassuring hand

(From the collection ‘Biophilia’, published on Amazon Kindle)
